Other helmet communication systems fall short when you ride off-road. The TrailTalker system was created with the off-road rider in mind. Built on familiar VHF handheld radio technology, our system aims to address the shortcomings of other communication systems. If you’re like us when we ride off-road we crash… a lot. When we do, we rarely end up in the same place as our machines. TrailTalker conveniently locates the PTT where you need it but keeps you unattached for the inevitable brushes with death.
WHY CHOOSE TRAILTALKER?
Built on well-known VHF handheld radio technology our helmet communication system is designed with the off-road rider in mind. We were frustrated with the lack of options and wanted something that just works. Get ready to change the way you communicate with TRAILTALKER!
When you’re riding through the woods, “line-of-sight” connections are not going to cut it. The TRAILTALKER system has better range than Bluetooth technology and can reach up to 2 miles. You can also increase your reach with one of our upgraded antennas.
Bluetooth systems limit the number of riders who can communicate in a group. Since the TRAILTALKER system utilizes VHF radios there is no limit to the number of riders who can communicate in your group.
The TRAILTALKER system utilizes wireless PTT functionality, meaning you only transmit what you want, when you want. Other systems utilize “always on” (or VOX), so you hear every grunt, groan, and sneeze. Located next to your left hand grip, your PTT button is easily accessible while allowing you to keep your hands on the grips.
Are you uncomfortable with hundreds of dollars worth of tech dangling from your helmet by a cheap plastic clip? Us too. The TRAILTALKER keeps all components safely protected within your helmet, hydration pack, and behind your number plate or headlight. Only the PTT button is exposed and is designed to be easy and affordable to replace if you break it.
